Miss South Carolina, Ali Rogers on stage at Miss America 2013
Congratulations to Miss South Carolina Ali A Rogers for being named first runner-up for Miss America 2013! After winning the Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Maker award and a preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness award, the Laurens county native performed Jackson 5′s “I Want You Back” for the talent component of the competition.
Ali will be named Miss America if the current Miss America can’t fulfill her duties.
I’m proud of her but in the back of my head, I wish she would have won! I think she deserved it more.
