With the finally cooling down this weekend in Columbia, it’s time to start covering up those legs. The “always in” fashionable jeans are great for style and comfort, but they can also be very costly. Luckily, the Amethyst’s Jean Machine arrived just in time to the USC campus to give away free pairs of their jeans to students.

The jean company draws its roots from Hartford, Connecticut, and is on an 11 stop college tour from September 12 to October 8. USC is the third stop on their generous road trip, before they continue on to Kentucky, Louisiana, and other states. Although this is the company’s first denim college tour, they are not first-timers to giving away their jeans at events, as they have also toured with cheer-leading events and Warped Tour.

“We love our product so much that we want to share them with everyone. We want girls to feel like ‘our girl,’: the girl next door,” said the event organizers when asked why they decided to give away product instead of offering discounts.

If you visited the Jean Machine and received your complimentary pair of jeans, but find yourself wanting more pairs, you can find them in stores like Charlotte Russe, Hamricks, Body Central, and others. You can also find them in Seventeen, GlamourPeople, and Nylon magazines.
