If you have ever taken Dr. Boggs visual merchandising class then you’ve had the amazing opportunity to hone your skills in visual merchandising by creating a display for the Richland Mall.
Every semester Dr. Boggs offers her students a unique hands on experience to visual merchandising by splitting the class into groups, assigning a theme, and allowing them to work on their displays in the mall. Some groups are even paired with businesses inside the mall such as Columbia Children’s Theater and Regal Cinemas. The students are not expected to use anything but items from their local dollar store and scraps they have laying around.
The students join together to create their displays and here is what the group of students this semester created.
