After what most would deem it as their most successful year yet playing host to Cameron Silver of Cameron Decades, Fern Mallis of New York Fashion Week, Anne Slowey of Elle Magazine, fashion designer Chris Benz, former model Cynthia Bailey and even Vanessa Lachey, the event was in no doubt a major success and the city is buzzing again as the work begins for Charleston Fashion Week 2013. Founder, Ayoka Lucas will continue to be involved in the week even though she has launched her own brand, with Charleston Magazine as her number one client.
On Thursday night, EdVenture Children’s Museum and Coplon’s presented Girls Night Out 2012. The tenth annual event of it’s kind, Girls Night Out is one of the museum’s two signature events. For the fashion component of the night, the event featured pieces from Chris Benz’s Fall and Spring collections.
This year, in 701 Whaley, the event was larger than it had ever been. Guests were treated to a variety of deserts and other treats from sponsors like MyDesertBar.com. With the beats manned by DJ Chris Wenner, the Grand Hall quickly filled up.
